Who
All Recreational U7 and U8 teams (Girls & Coed)
What
Instructional program geared toward improving the technical skills of the recreational player and coach, either to advance to another level or just improve their individual skillset. The program is run by licensed Coaches & helpers that provides an individual instructor for every 10 to 15 children. Academy participants will be divided into ability levels to ensure proper competition. Coaches will be given curriculum that they can follow for their practices to enhance activities from academy night.
When
Teams will attend one academy night training per week to go along with their weekly team practice night.
Where
Session locations will be determined on the number of players/teams registered in each area. They are typically held in a central location.
How Often
Sessions begin the week after normal practices begin and run 6-8 weeks depending on field availability and weather cancellations.
What you need to bring
Athletic attire as well as an appropriate sized ball, shin guards and athletic footwear. Cleats are recommended but not required. Also bring plenty of water.
