Rules of the Game
All games will be played utilizing official US Youth Futsal Rules.
Exceptions, additions, and reminders to the above rules:
- CSA Futsal will not be switching benches at half.
- Halftimes are 5 minutes long.
- Ages 12 and up play with senior-sized balls; under 12 play with junior-sized balls. All balls will be kept at the facility.
- Please do not gather on end lines for safety purposes.
- Shin guards are required for all players.
What
CSA Winter Futsal Program (U8 - HS age groups) is a fun program that will help keep players active during the winter season. The Winter Futsal Program is games only (no team practices). Futsal is a fast-paced game with frequent ball touches, plenty of scoring opportunities, and rewarding defense. Games will be indoors at the MMG Sports Performance Center in Owings and The Calverton School in Huntingtown. Teams will roster a max of 10 players. The program is run by Adult Volunteer Coaches and Assistant Coaches.
***CSA Winter Futsal Program is 5v5 GAMES only. There will not be any practices.
When
Coaches will inform team of game schedule once released. All games will be held on Friday evenings, Saturdays between 8am - 7pm and/or Sunday afternoons between 12pm - 6pm. This 6 game season should begin January 5th and run through the end of February.
Where
All games will be played at the MMG Sports Performance Center in Owings and the Calverton School in Huntingtown.
How Often
Teams can expect to play six games. Winter Futsal Program begins in early January and ends late February.
What you need to bring
The player will need to wear shin guards, non-marking athletic footwear, and bring plenty of water to all games. Home team players will wear a yellow/gold (or light colored) jersey. Away team players will wear a gray/black (or dark colored) jersey. We suggest using the CSA Rec Uniform kit.

Middle School
High School**Age groups/grades may be combined within each division as needed to form teams.
Cost
Pre-formed team registration fee (Coach must register first, then add team and invite players):
- U8-Middle School-aged team $475/team
- High School-aged team: $575/team
Individual player registration fee (for players who need to be placed on a team):
- $65 for U8-Middle School-aged player
- $80 for High School-aged player
*** REFUNDS - All transactions are subject to a fee. Refunds may be requested prior to regular registration closing and team placement. All refund requests will be considered but are not promised or guaranteed. There will be no refunds once regular registration closes and/or team placement has begun.
