What: Instructional program geared toward introducing the game of soccer to the young ones. The program is run by Travel or High School Coaches and their players which provides an individual instructor for every five to ten children. There is play time but no competition style matches. Each child will receive a soccer ball and t-shirt.
When: Meets once a week based on availability of coaches and assistants. You will be contacted by the coach by the beginning of the recreational regular season for your session dates and times. The sessions last @ 1 hour (40 minutes of instruction and a 20 minute play). The season is over by the last weekend of regular season games.
Where: Sessions are formed North, Central and South. Winter and Summer sessions are held indoors at the CSA Fieldhouse.
How often: Typically seven sessions beginning when the regular recreation season begins until the end of the final regular season games. Winter session coincides with the indoor season. Summer sessions wil begin in 2017.
What you need to bring: A shirt and ball are provided but you will need shin guards and athletic footwear. Cleats are not required. Also bring plenty of water.
